SHAKTI SHAMANIC USUI REIKI ™(c):

Shakti Shamanic Usui Reiki (Shakti-Reiki) is the term I use to refer to the program I created which combines my hereditary teachings on energy with my traditional Usui Master-Teacher training in Reiki.  Both modalities utilize a universal energy, whether it is referred to as God, Cosmic, Kundalini, it all refers to the same principle: energy of Source, creation. Shakti-Reiki Fusion also incorporates Shamanic practices through ritual in the healing process.  Simple elemental pujas will be introduced in the Master Teacher Level of the program. (A puja is a ritual/prayer ceremony)

SHAKTI ENERGY:

It is believed that both male and female energy is required to create change in the universe.  Shakti Energy is the primordial female energy, which brings manifestation to the male energy (‘thought’).  The thought to heal is considered passive, and male, it is the start of the healing process: intent.  The flow of the energy, the removal of blockages, is active, and female: the action. The Shakti aspect of this Reiki program extends to the healing of self and patient as well.  Shakti is ‘action’, and a Shakti-Reiki practitioner encourages his/her patient to own their body and mind, and to be an active participant in the healing process.  Just like modern medicine, Reiki can also end up being a temporary band-aid to deeper issues, if the underlying source of the dis-ease are not dealt with.  Providing council, exercises and referrals for further assistance is the mark of a true Shakti Shamanic Healer.

THE KOSHAS:

Over 5,000 years ago the Rishis of India developed the concept of the koshas (bodies) to assist us in navigating an inner journey – starting from the physical body and moving towards the inner-self/soul. Over the full course of the Shakti Reiki program, you will learn through time and practice the ‘feel’ of the different layers of energy.  This will assist with understanding through scanning the patient where weakness, or ‘links’ may be harming the patient.   By performing pre and post treatment scans, you will be able to reassess if Reiki is the most effectual form of treatment for the Patient, and advise accordingly.

 THE CHAKRAS:

A Shakti Shamanic Reiki practice addresses the health of your Chakras first.  Finding blockages thorough ‘scans’ and ensuring the wheels are spinning before infusing you with Reiki Energy.  This allows the energy to flow, unobstructed, within you.  An understanding of the Chakras is required for this program. A brief introduction to their physical and spiritual functions within our bodies, as well as signs of ‘stagnation’ and ‘blockages’ are provided in the introductory section in Level 1, with an advanced study in Level 2.

THE MUDRAS:

In Addition, the traditional Reiki Hand Positions, Shakti Shamanic Reiki incorporates Mudras.  The student will be trained to teach the Mudras to their clients for additional healing between treatments.  In level two, the student will be instructed on pre-treatment meditation with Mudras, and post-treatment cleansing Mudras to clear their energy and recharge for the next client, with advanced Mudras being studied in Level 3. 

THE MANTRAS:

Mantras have been used for thousands of years as a method of attuning the mind, body and spirit to the unseen energies of the universe. Mantras are comprised of the seed sounds associated with the creation of the universe.  Cosmic source.  Repetition of these sounds creates within the user a physical vibration attuned to a spiritual one.  Vibrations, sound waves, are used to remove blockages and carry healing energy.  In level three, Mantras will be introduced to the healing process.

 It is the combination of ritual, and ancient Vedic energy practices with the more modern practice of Reiki which makes the Shakti Shamanic Reiki Fusion Program so unique, and I hope, a beneficial and rewarding component to your energy healing practice.
